The Systems Analyst`s role is to: (1) deliver support to internal customers about how to use various types of software programs efficiently and effectively in fulfilling business objectives; and (2) troubleshoot applications and workstation software connected with these applications; and (3) design, delivery, and improvement of in-house automation routines; and (4) provide security administration services. To that end, the positions responsibilities include, without limitation:
Training will be provided to qualified candidates
- Use technical and analytical expertise combined with work experience to identify and resolve
problems in timely fashion, - Modifies and implements security and control procedures including, without limitation: userid creation; userid removal; assigning object level rights in MS Windows / Active Directory,
- Maintaining the security administration documentation repository,
- Prepare security and general computer control responses for Sarbanes-Oxley, PCI, and other
security compliance demands of the corporation, That is, assemble and deliver information, as
required to facilitate audit or other compliance activities,
- Perform and provide technical mentoring of all security administration request types for
Windows (Active Directory), Mainframe RACF/IDMS/ClCS, VPN, CES Application, UNIX, LDAP,
ERP, and RDBMS platforms,
- Act as the primary escalation point and resolve 3rd level support issues for Security-related
escalations.
- Install and maintain back-end program software (e,g" the CES application backend) and patches, Create test data and unit test installation /changes, Verify all changes through QA procedures consistent with corporate policy. Ensure the proper migration of application data, if necessary, between versions. Promote code into production.
- Planning, implementing, and supporting CES application changes,
- Evaluate performance of application software and advise third party support, systems
administrators, and hardware support providers in analyzing and troubleshooting procedures.
- Write documentation and instructional material. Train other members of the technical staff and
users as necessary.
- Identify and/or correct problems in the maintenance of existing files and programs.
- Initiate, design and delivery of services and scripts (VB, Perl) which will improve the quality and
reliability of CES Applications and/or our user experience.
- Creating automation routines (coding, testing, debugging, and documenting) that run from either the command line, within the context of a job scheduler, or within the context of one of
enterprise management tools (e.g., HPOV) which will improve the quality and reliability of CES
Applications and/or our user experience.
- Provide workflow / process services to CES.
- After analysis, recommend methods, software system improvements or new software routines
which are effective, flexible and integrate with current systems to meet user`s changing needs.
- Meets with various stakeholder technology groups and ascertains CES application needs by
reviewing and analyzing work procedures and operating methods.
- Install and maintain scripts, which the individual or the group develops. This includes
troubleshooting and off-hours support of code the introduced into the environment.
- Analyze, identify and implement internal initiatives related to team optimizations in the areas of
security process.
- Troubleshooting end user`s remote access to the environment.
- Responsible for day-to-day administration, cross-training of other administrations, and definition of all new operational processes required to support new CES Applications.
- May perform clerical work associated with assigned activities.
- May perform other tasks to support the infrastructure or the business as directed to by the
